Pregnancy after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage when I was 8 weeks pregnant this would've been my 2nd child. I lost my baby on thr 18th so over a week ago now and I'm still getting positive pregnancy test although on the day I had a negative after My miscarriage. I'm just so confused as I'm not sure if I'm pregnant again or weather it is still my hormones. Just wanted advice if other people had been through this, and if anyone knows how quick you can get pregnant again after a miscarriage?

Hey love 💕 similar situation. I was 5 weeks when I miscarried and it took me 2 weeks to get a negative test. I’d give it some more time. I got a negative test on 10/5 and found out I was pregnant on 10/25. You’re more fertile after a miscarriage apparently!

It just so strange as on the day I had My miscarriage and the day after they were negative now for some reason 10 days later there positive so I'm very confused, thank you so much for sharing that with me

Not too sure here as you said you miscarried just 10 days ago. I'm guessing the ovulation stage and implantation after certain days of ovulation should take more time than that. My guess is it's from the MC, but i can understand why you think it might not be. Check if your hcg is increasing comparing the darkness of the test 2 days after. If it is, then you're in luck.

@China wow you got pregnant right after your miscarriage?

@Melissa yes. about 3 weeks after. My OB said once I got the negative test I was good to start trying again.

@China 3 weeks after? I thought you miscarried 10 days ago.

@Neeta no. The original post said they miscarried 10days ago.

@China my bad, I misunderstood you to be the OP.

@Neeta hi I seen your comment, so I had a miscarriage on Oct 22nd and today’s the 30th so it’s been a week and I stopped bleeding on the 25th. Took a hcg test on the 27th and it came back negative. I’ve now noticed I had ovulation like discharge, I tested for ovulation and came back negative and tested it again and it’s got lighter. So it seems like it could be happening pretty fast. After seeing your comment it sounds similar to my situation. Seems all too fast however. X

@Amy what's odd to me is that you got a negative test on OPK and then a light one. I would have considered it as a progressing LH, but i can understand you listening to your body at the same time. Honestly, I did not try to track ovulation until I got my first period, so I cannot tell how it was for me soon after miscarriage. My OPKs were positive for 8w after miscarriage due to lingering HCG, and my focus was mostly to bring it down or wait for my first period. At 5.5w I got my period and then continued to get faint OPK positives due to HCG and noticed a surge when I actually ovulated.
