Prenatal depression definitely is a thing, your hormones are going crazy and the exhaustion can be dehabilitating- especially with another little one at home. Maybe ask your midwife to check your iron levels, mine are up and down and when low I definitely feel 100x worse

I agree to this and something that I had to speak up and let aware those around me to get the right support we need. It’s not just us being affected it’ll also be our baby. Just to let you know, you’re not alone and it’s okay to feel it. Contact your midwife and they can perhaps refer you to perinatal team? I also agree to Aoife; it’s something I’ve done too. Self care helped me a lot even if it’s as small as doing my nails, binge watching my fav show and putting a face mask on. Eating my comfort food once in a while, whatever works for you. You got this mama, you’re doing great so far ♥️🥰

It’s definitely a thing! I noticed my mental health had massively gotten worse since being pregnant second time round ( I already suffered with mental health) I spoke to my midwife who then got in touch with a perinatal nurse who I now see frequently and I’ve even had a diagnosis, there is help out there, and I promise it will get better ❤️
