Severe hair loss

Not sure if this was discussed here recently but is anyone else experiencing severe hair loss at 17m pp??? I’m scared I’m going to end up bald! I’m losing chunks of hair since June. I’ve had bloods and they were normal, I’m seeing the Dr on the 5th again. I’m so scared, what is going on?

I noticed I had some eyebrow loss and chunks were falling from my crown possibly starting at 14 months. I had bloods recently but nothing really but I did have a low thyroid after birth so it could be that, but I had also been going through stress and major lack of sleep too. I'm just taking vitamins iron and selenium and it seems to have settled a little. Sometimes the GP can refer to a specialist possibly?

Yes I can relate to this! Finally managed to book a GP appointment and got blood test on Friday. To be honest I’m very inconsistent with my vitamin intake and not the healthiest diet either. Wouldn’t be surprised if mine was due to low iron. The hair loss does seem excessive and nothing like I’ve experienced before although I’ve always had a history of anaemia.

My hair loss has massively improved with the grow gorgeous serum and some rosemary/castor oil! I was convinced I would go bald but I use the serum daily and oil my hair once a week and it seems to have really helped so far xx

Omg I am experiencing the exact same!

Yes I’ve been noticing this when washing my hair too 😫

@Michelle yeah I am gonna ask on Tuesday if there’s anything that can be done. Just wondering if they can do hormonal tests to see if there’s some sort of imbalance from pp or something.

@Charlotte hey, I was thinking to start using castor oil again too but I was told that massaging the scalp can make hair fall more and because of how thick the castor oil is I’d have to rinse my hair at least twice to get the oil out. Does that affect you at all???

@Ana I can keep you posted on what the GP said if you’d like!

@Jade omg yes. And also a month ago I dyed my hair after months of not touching them and when I was rinsing them I cried a bit. Chunks! I don’t think I’ll be dying them again for a while. I can keep you posted on what the GP says if you want.

@Idil same, so that’s why I assumed it must be a vitamin deficiency but then my results came back completely normal so I’m thinking maybe hormones? Cause my diet is very good at the moment and I’m not particularly stressed either so I can’t think of much else!
