Missed miscarriage

My tests about 5 days ago were slightly positive with a few symptoms of slight nausea tenderness breast and bloating. Now my tests are negative and I’ve got stretchy pinky brown discharge coming away from me. I’m guessing this is the start to a missed misscairage. I’ve no pain just slightly crampy

That’s a little bit different than a missed miscarriage, but it sounds like a chemical (a very early loss, usually occurring around week 5). A missed miscarriage is when you have lost the pregnancy but are having no symptoms of losing the pregnancy because your body is still recognizing it as viable. (no bleeding, pregnancy test still positive, etc). I’m so sorry for your loss. Hang in there.

Ah ok thank you. Will I have to ring epu. I’m in no pain and for being so early that’s maybe why x

So sorry to hear this, it’s never easy. If I were you I’d rest up at home and take it easy. Take pain relief if it feels worse and as the tests are now negative your HCG is at a level the body is recognising the pregnancy has come to an end. I think EPU will probably make you feel worse personally and there is nothing they could do really apart from offer a blood test as if you’re super early on they wouldn’t do a scan anyway as there would be nothing to see. Wishing you lots of baby dust for the future 🤞🏼

Thank you you’ve been so helpful xx

I hope the pain never comes and everything passes peacefully. You’re on the “right track” as much as I hate to use those words, with the negative pregnancy test. I’m in the US so not familiar with the EPU, but personally I would just stay home unless I got bad pain or pass anything large. It’s likely that with your symptoms and negative test all they’ll do is tell you to do is rest. I’m sorry. :(
