Im just asking sorry not sure if we are
Sausage rolls are absolutely fine x
Yes we are allowed sausage rolls lol
Why do you think we wouldn’t be allowed to eat sausage rolls? What part is concerning?
@Jess ive read no sausage no hot dogs etc.
Do you remember where you read it? Iv no idea why it would say that. You shouldn’t have deli meats but that’s not cooked sausage …
I've been living on Greggs sausage rolls 😂
I would just follow the NHS food guidelines. Doesn’t mention sausage rolls.
I had cooked frankfurters in my first pregnancy. All is good. I even have cooked salami and peperoni on a pizza x
You can have sausage rolls but not hot dogs x
@Kas why?!? Iv even met with a dietician for other reasons whilst pregnant and they have never said this
I’ve been living on sausage rolls and frankfurters
@Jessica oh I’m not sure then it’s just what I’ve been told. Apparently you should avoid ready to eat meats Google says ‘such as cold cuts and hot dogs when you’re pregnant’ I heard the same thing when I was pregnant with my first so I just avoided it to be safe. No hotdogs, salami kind of meat or soft cheese. But I know of people who’ve ate all the above too, so it’s down to your own discretion I think… to be fair I ate salmon last time I was pregnant but apparently it’s recently came out pregnant women can’t have salmon 🤣🤣
Greggs sausage rolls saved me during early pregnancy 🤣👌

@Kas smoked salmon right? coz we are encouraged to eat salmon twice a week
My midwife just said ‘salmon’ she didn’t specify on smoked or not smoked so I assume it’s just salmon all together. She said it’s came out within the last 6/8 months. We’re encouraged to eat fish though you’re right, like cod ect but not too much. Tbf pregnant women have ate salmon all of these years I can’t see it being too much of a problem but it’s the new advice, so best safe than sorry I’d say!
Wait what?! I didn’t know we weren’t allowed, I’ve been eating them like they are going out of fashion 🤣
