Inova Alexandria

Hi! I didn’t give birth here (gave birth at Inova Fairfax!) but I did have a bleed at 33 weeks and went to Inova Alexandria. I had an incredible experience personally! They immediately sent me up to L&D and had me hooked up to all the monitors within 5 minutes. All the doctors and nurses were amazing, I had an urgent ultrasound that was very thorough and the tech was awesome. I stayed overnight and was released the next day. It was a very scary time but they were so attentive, helpful, and reassuring! My OB delivers at Fairfax but Alexandria is maybe 5 mins from my house and I definitely would have been more than happy to deliver there. Fairfax is bigger and has an impressive NICU so overall I did prefer it but also really loved alexandria!

I delivered at Alexandria! It’s an older smaller hospital but I had the best experience in my situation. I delivered preterm at 30 weeks and my baby was in the NICU for 2 months. All the doctors and nurses were amazing given the circumstances. L&D and Postpartum ward were so kind and helpful. The nurses are great! I hope you have a great experience too.

10000/10. Everyone was on it! I tend to complain a bit lol but I have no complaints. I had some issues after delivery and when I tell you I was a priority to them I really was. From the moment I called to give them a heads up that I was going in to when I was being discharged AMAZING!!!!!
