I was taken through the procedure, bloods taken and then given 2 lots of tablets and a shower gel to use before op
You will get some cream for nostrils for mrsa used two days before 3x a day, wash to use two days before, omapazole for stomach acid and two carb drinks to drink before op in morning (obvz depending if you are a morning slot). You will do two mrsa swabs at pre op in nostrils and your bits lol! You then have a chat with anaesthesia about what happens. They told me bloods to be done two days before section date! This was at my hosp anyway may differ at diff hosps x

In mine they took bloods and then gave me an omeprazole to take on the morning of my surgery for acid. They gave me information on what will happen and where to go and that was about it 😊 x
