Stay At Home Moms who live off benefits and still put their kids in Nursery !!???

Honestly, I don’t understand this! People who live off benefits some of them committing some level of benefit fraud, lying that they are single, when they have husbands who work full time and getting benefits for their kids and for housing, and they choose not to work to take care of their kids and then they even go so far as to complain about how it is so much work and then put their kids in nursery or get a baby sitter so they can get a ‘break’ how do you honestly live with yourselves

Who hurt you?? 😂 Everyone is entitled to parenting the way that works for them

You don't know what they have on in their lives, and you shouldn't compare others ways of doing things to how you would do them yourself

It doesn't affect you does it? Just let people be 😊

Wow

Wow indeed

@Dominique one of them are ya ? Of course it affects me. I work hard and pay taxes and my taxes go towards paying for their nonsense. The worst part is they spend all their time judging working moms like me saying we put money before our kids or some other rubbish

😂😂No I have a great career in my full time job thank you, my recommendation is to learn how to not assume things in other people and if people judge you, perhaps just try to not let it get to you.

I would recommend watching ‘I Daniel Blake’, might give you more of an idea of how hard it is to get welfare when you need it. Let alone when you don’t!

I live in the UK and no it’s not hard to get benefits here. I am also not making adjustments. These are several women I have met at baby groups and they are unashamed about the fraud they are committing and in fact they bash immigrants for coming to the country and taking their jobs and taking free money when immigrants don’t have access to benefits and most of the English ppl themselves refuse to work cos they live off benefits by choice! Is that not crazy ?

@Dominique sorry I attacked you but I’ve just come from a baby group listening to their nonsense and judgement about working

Thank you for your apology 😊

Maybe try a different baby group 😂 you don't have to agree with everyone's way of living, and certainly not have to be best friends with everyone

Yea I know I don’t have to agree and I know we should let everyone do what suits them best however. What’s wrong is wrong and it’s okay to say so, lying that you are a single mom just to live off benefits so you end up taking more money home than ppl who are working and paying taxes is wrong and selfish

Incog if they are openly bragging about fraudulently claiming benefits - report them! You can either try and befriend them by asking for their Facebook details or if they drive, take a note of their licence plate. DWP have access to all govt systems so tracing the person is easy.

I don’t agree with lying about being single but I am a SAHM, my partner works part time due to his disabilities & I am his carer, we are entitled to 15 free hours under those circumstances & my son goes 1 day a week which will increase to 2 days in January. I also have a 6 month old & am pregnant with our third & last child, there are some people who stay at home but still have an entitlement to funded places depending on circumstances, I’ll be staying at home until our youngest is in school then I will probably be working at least part time but more likely full time & my partner will remain part time I think the main thing that’s wrong & gets people so irate is when people take advantage by lying & pretending in regards to their circumstances in order to get more than they should but I see nothing wrong with using the system within your entitlement & you don’t always know peoples full circumstances to be able to judge Obviously if they’re openly bragging that needs looking into

I’m from the US, it’s hard AF to get assistance! You could be homeless and still not qualify in some way. I never look down on people who have to subject themselves to the damn system because “there before the grace of God go me” 😬
