Pregnancy test

Probably a silly question... When they say you may not get a negative pregnancy until 2-4 weeks after a miscarriage, does this mean from when the miscarriage started or after it has finished? 🤔

I think it's from when they know it's a miscarriage. I had a missed miscarriage and my negative test was 4 weeks after I was told it was a missed miscarriage. Hope that helps.

I’m not too sure, my negative test was 8 weeks from my initial scan confirming a MMC, it was also 2 weeks after the bleeding stopped. I feel it would be after because retained tissue can keep the test showing positive x

I had a missed mc and the nurse told me to start testing 2 weeks after the mc is complete xx
