Hi @Bella I am going to be a new first time mom in about 3 weeks and I can only say I am planning on feeling all the feels. To the very good to the lowest lows. Message me if you want to talk, I’m sure I’ll be needing someone too in the next few weeks/months! We got this ❤️
I completely understand where you’re coming from. I am sorry you’re feeling this way but know that you’re not alone. Does your hospital have maternal mental health that could possibly provide support? If not then I agree trying to get out of the house is helpful, especially if you go on walks. I know getting out and having the energy to do it is SO hard but it’s definitely worth it. Prioritize yourself as well during part of the day, no matter how long that time is. Also idk about you, but sometimes crying helps when I feel overwhelmed. Don’t be afraid to do that. I hope you have family or friends who you can also vent to when necessary.
Find a mops group in your area. And go. It helped me a lot.
Get outside if you can. talk to anyone who can understand what you’re going through or your doctor. Having a newborn isn’t easy at all but you’ll get a schedule going and you’ll start to feel sorta normal again. Take some time for yourself. Don’t forget you need some you time too go get nails done or take a nice bath every once in a while.
