Same here she says words in English and in Spanish, very good and will repeat everything
Idk like 60+. She says 2-3 words together sometimes more.
Can you understand them when they repeat the words?
Oh yeah, I understand her perfectly but when she try to say sentences have no clue
2 words and lots of babbling.
@Emily ok thank you this is what my son is doing
1…. And It’s not even in context!
I started tracking my little one at the 1-year mark to make sure he wasn't falling behind but then stopped tracking after he hit over 140 words at the 15-month mark, and started to do sentences. Now we have to be very conscious about what we say near him bc he's good at repeating whole sentences back
Speech therapist here! At 18 months you want at least 50 words and for them to be starting to combine two words (eg more nana, bye dada). Early intervention through the state is free for under 3 if you have concerns :) My son is on the higher side for vocabulary and I stopped counting 😅 he uses 2-4 word phrases (almost 19m)
I’d say 20. I seen his doctor last week and told her I had read online that he should be saying 50 or more. She said not to worry. If he’s at least trying and babbling he’s doing what he should be doing. He’s 19m
Mine is saying less than 50 so got her signed up for early intervention. They have super great resources I am excited for us both to learn from
I stopped counting around 100 😂 she’s a sponge right now, she learns so much every day. We’re getting into basic sentences “I want swing,” “read to me,” “hi mama/dada” etc.
My son is needing early intervention! He only says about 10 words and he doesn’t know how to properly use them. Every child is different
Literally like 60😂 No exaggerating. He can repeat any word that you say to him ❤️
