Pre-workout

Does anyone know if you can take pre-workout while breastfeeding/pumping? I’m 6 weeks PP and wanting to get back into the gym this week. Wanting to see if you all are using pre or if you guys have suggestions

I guess check with your doctor. I’m wondering the same thing but during pregnancy. I take a really clean one and I do like 1/2 the serving size but I need to ask my dr this week at my appt if it’s ok. Did you take it during pregnancy?

I think Amino Energy would be safe- it has your BCAAs and the caffeine is from green tea. Obviously do your own research and talk to your OB but I have kidney disease and have used it for years with no issues and took it a few times when I was breast feeding and never had an issue. It isn’t a super intense one by any means but it gives you that energy boost. Again- do your own research but for me that one has always been safe.

Sorry- if you want to be extra careful take 500 mg of L-Tyrosine with a cup of black coffee- that is a great pre-workout boost and as clean as you can get.
