Nesting anxiety

Really just wanting a rant to see if it will help but Iv been feeling increasingly stressed about the nursery. As the old spare room it contained a couch and a tv with a PlayStation as it was my gaming room but it needs a lot of work to become a nursery. I want all the furniture out and binned, the wallpaper ripped off, the walls painted, a clothes pole put up in the wardrobe and the carpet cleaned and my anxiety is telling me it’s too much like it feels like a mountain to climb and il never get over it in time for baby to arrive 😭😭 it’s really upsetting me that I don’t feel comfortable in my own home so how can I bring a baby into it 😭 it also constantly feels like an absolute mess as well even though there are only 2 of us living here !! Anyone else struggled with extreme nesting to the point it causes stress? Any tips ??

Also having this issue, our spare room has a huge wardrobe and desk which are both full and I have no where to put the stuff, trying to clear it ends up making more mess! So no advice but in the same boat

I totally understand, take it step by step. You have plenty of time and don't forget baby will be in with you for the first 6 months so that gives you even more time to perfect it before they arrive. To do lists are really helping me at the moment and doing little jobs here and there x

Thank you ❤️ it’s just nice to know other people feel that way as well and I’m not being ridiculous. The list idea is good il take that on board so that I can cross things off
