Dec to Nov baby

So my December 7th baby is going to turn into a November 28th baby. Getting induced Thanksgiving night due to gestational diabetes. So currently 36w4d, and at my cervical check i was 2cm dilated. I figure the more I can dilate now, the less the medication has to do for me. But that's a bit of a delicate dance over the next 15 days. Anybody got any tips? I work 70hr a week in Healthcare so I'm moving and walking plenty.

Maybe eat some pineapples and do curb walking on your breaks. Idk how much the raspberry tea thing is true but u can try that too. I'm in the same boat, my dec 3rd baby just turned into a Nov 21st baby. Im like 1cm dilated. But I have gestational diabetes as well. I tried meds for it and diet control but I guess it didn't work. But anyway I'm trying to dilate myself more as well by walking and pineapples lol.

YouTube labor prep videos, dates & fresh pineapples help soften the cervix and the raspberry tea will also help with the ease of contractions.

I had GD with my last and i had an emergency csection at 36 weeks and a day. So, I figured this one would come early too, but I font have GD thus time. I'm 37 weeks and 2 days and I'm surprised I made it this long. My goal was to make it to 36 weeks. I've just been patiently waiting. I have pressure, contractions, cramps, but nothing consistent yet. My due date is Dec 2, I just didn't think I would make it to then. It's my 5th child, 3rd boy. Best of luck to you and other moms!

My baby is due Dec 7th too! Good luck mamas! đź©·
