Mat leave

I was supposed to finish this week (would be 36w when finishing) but I moved it forward a week as was struggling! I've got a 20 month old and work as a community nurse so my job was quite physical, so glad I did at this week has been lovely to slow down a bit and get things like hospital bag packed! My little boy also came 10 days early so wanted some time to relax incase this one is early too! Enjoy! Xx

Today's my last day too, albeit have had to work at home all week as managed to catch covid so not actually getting to say goodbye!

I’m soooo ready for Mat Leave! I finish 2 weeks tomorrow when I’m 38 weeks 😩 seriously regretting going this long now haha. Enjoy this time and relax before your little bundle arrives ❤️

@Ellie thank you!!! feel absolutely awful!! But I'm on day 5 now so hoping it will start to be better as days pass. Test still blazing positive though and possibly delivering in 2 weeks. 3 weeks max so really hoping it goes so I can get bits done and feel better. Xx

I worked in the office and finished this Tuesday - 35 weeks. I have elective c section that will be scheduled for week 39 and also just struggled to even walk the dog after a day at work x

I also finish today and feel ready for a break! When I say break, I have a 2 year old, baby’s room to finish, Christmas to sort out and about a million jobs that need doing around the house 🙈 I’m 36 weeks

I finish a week tomorrow when I’m 37+5, definitely ready for it and wish it was this week but hopefully she will stay put to give me some time to chill when I do eventually get there 😅 x

Today is my last day at 37 weeks but that is because I took 2 weeks of annual leave as my mat leave start on the 2nd of December. I am so exhausted and tired I have nothing more to give. Staying awake is a challenge at this point so I can’t for my half a day to come to an end and relax as it has been a stressful year at work. Enjoy you mat leave mammas!😁

I finished a couple of weeks ago but it was so necessary. I'm a retail manager and on my feet for 8+ hours a day and it was getting impossible

Best of luck to everyone. 33weeks currently but had to start with my 3 weeks due annual leave then enter maternity leave. So I’m home and getting into the mummy mood xx
