This is a doubling time of 1.9 days, which is perfectly normal. You actually want betas to double every 48-72 hours at the beginning. Not sure why the goal was 540. To me, your betas look excellent, although there is a huge range of betas that lead to successful pregnancies and many pregnancies that appear to have high numbers at first that are unsuccessful. That said, go back Monday and don’t stress yourself too much with these numbers! The downside of fertility treatments is having to have all these repeat tests that cause a lot of stress and don’t super translate well to success of a pregnancy.
@Claire thank you! I appreciate the positive vibes! Definitely trying to not worry too much.
I understand why they wanted it to be 540 after three days. 180x2+180=540. It is not much lower than anticipated and double time can indeed be closer to 72 hours. As long as you don’t have heavy cramping or bright red bleeding with clots, you should be okay. I get the anxiety though, after waiting so long and going through all of this, you just hope that it will work out. You got this! Distract yourself with a good audiobook or fun activity you like to do 🫶
@Sophie Yeah I did the math too and can see where they got the 540 but like you said it's close. I just hope my numbers are good come Monday when I go back for the third beta.
My beta was 47 at day 10. Borderline low so they had me retest on day 13. I got 256. This was in February, the baby stuck and she was born earlier this month!
2 of my pregnancy's were slow at rising but then lost them at 7 and 9 weeks. Then my 3rd one was slow and now I have 9 months twin boys. It just varies for person-to-person person. Don't give up hope yet.
