Self care

I feel like I've completely neglected myself since baby came along, most days I'm lucky if I get a shower. I truly don't know how mums are doing this on their own because the only time I can do anything for myself is when my husband comes home from work. I see other mums out and about and they look great, I look like I'm barely clinging to life. My hair has fallen out in clumps, I've gained weight I haven't even begun to lose and my skin has aged a thousand years. I need tips for a reallllly basic skin care routine that will help me revive my dull, dead, aging skin because I don't want to be the haggered mum anymore 😭

I’d say a hydrating toner, hydrating serum and moisturiser. For an added boost retinol is also great and can be used under the serum. But i feel when skin is very hydrated it definitely looks its best. I also throw in a face mask here and there when possible. This simple routine has definitely helped me look somewhat normal as time is definitely not on our side, i miss the long self-care routines sometimes😅

Yep same here. My skin care has gone out the window too. I’m lucky to have a glass of water most days

Could of wrote this myself tbh! I'm fed up of myself I need to lose weight I'm always in scruffy clothes my hair is soo thin also 🙃

I have little sideburns never had before from my hair falling out so I just hate my hair at the moment I never have time to do anything!

I had a traumatic c section and since then I have literally worn makeup 6 times and really neglect myself it’s so hard if you have other kids too and no help. For a month after her birth in Feb I could only bed wash and I just couldn’t even look in the mirror. It does get better every day do one 5 minute thing for yourself mine is a good shower while hubby here and lots of skin care and do my hair. I love in leggings though but trust me it does get easier xxxx
