Me👋

Following! I’ve requested to have it done - GP said yes but now need to wait for my obstetrics to approve at my appointment in December 🙃🙃🙃🙃

@Geri how did it go for you ?

@Lauren do you know what would be the reasons your obstetrics disapprove?!

For me it’ll be my age (24). Although my gp agreed because I’ve done a lot of researched on it, know the risks, know it’s not reversible, I will have 3 children under 4 and I’m absolutely certain I’m done physically, mentally & financially. So just hoping the obstetrics agree with the GP and allow it x

@Lauren gotcha ;) Hope everything will go well for you!!🙏✨

Thank you! Have you already been approved for it or just wanting it? In my research I’ve found alot of people have had it successfully done, but their periods have been heavier since x

I'm just (seriously) thinking about it! I'm 30 so maybe it would be reasonable to wait at least 5 years.... I want it done for sure. Since I'm 20 actually 😆 I have now my sweet boy who's 3! (Found out I was pregnant during second trimester, surprise surprise !) I'm a single mom, I have to find a man who doesn't want more kids 😆

Yeah the one question my gp asked me was ‘what if you got with a new partner and they wanted children .. what then’ I just said, well I have 3 so if they want children they’ll know from the very beginning I absolutely do not want anymore and if they desire their own biological children, then I am not the right women for them & she said okay. I then without letting her get another breath in said ‘Me and my fiancé have mutually agreed we are finished having children, but if for whatever reason in the future we changed our minds, which is hugely unlikely because we struggle now, we have said we would much prefer to foster or adopt a child who needs a warm loving home then bring anymore biological ones into the world’ Generally though if I had a 4th which would be an absolute ‘oopsie’ baby I couldn’t afford it at all, we already looked at 7 seater cars, and finances as when we had just the 1 we liked the idea of 4. A 7 seater for me just for insurance is £7.5k a year! It’s ridiculous😩

I did it

I had a salpingectomy. Which is where both of my fallopian tubes were completely removed

I did mines in January during my c section. The only thing i randomly have now are phantom pains but nothing I can’t handle, they last about 5-10 seconds

@KAM i have phantom pains too!

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

@Samantha oh it’s horrible but it’s bearable
