I can't leave her eyesight or she starts screaming, she constantly wants to be held, but put down so I essentially have ti just sit next to her so she can touch me but ignore my existence unless I move. I'm lucky enough she sleeps well at night but I don't and never have so I think I'd deal better with her waking multiple times but still being her happy little self
I’m right there with you. Plus top teeth breaking through at the same time 😩 I can’t even go to the loo and leave her with her daddy who she normally adores. We have 5 days left but we did have a good night sleep last night so hoping we’re coming out the other side 🤞 I’d also love some positive stories to reassure me that I will be able to leave the room again at some point in the future 😬🤞
This week is fully wiping me out, I'm losing the will to live 🤣 The only way she's happy is, like Jayde, if I'm sat close enough by. The second I even stand up and look like I might move, she cries. She's started waking multiple times a night SCREAMING but still asleep, started having feeds during the night again too. She's 7 months today, idk when this period is meant to end but my god (and without wishing time away) I hope it's soon 😭
Yeah getting clingier by the day I left the room while he was sat having breakfast with his dad literally to grab a glass of water and he kicked off very much a mummys boy the last week or so before he was pretty happy with anyone. And teething as many of our little ones are I think.
Ohh this is a thing?! Thank goodness I wondered what was going on. He is so cranky by mid-afternoon he is shrieking and squawking and I couldn't pin point any cause.
I had this a few weeks ago, passed very quickly! Although I did then have a week of crap sleep (first good night last night) but I think that could be possibly teething. Hang in there girls, lots of peekaboo!
apparently during this stage they develop attachment and separation anxiety. I’ve started playing peekaboo behind doors with my baby so he understands I’m coming back 😂 I’ve noticed its the same with toys too, if he drops a toy or can no longer see it he will scream 🤦🏻♀️
@Mia Brend the toy thing is actually really hard to deal with 😬 we are having this too. Or if I take something away from her that she’s managed to get hold of, she throws an actual toddler tantrum. We went to a baby class on Tuesday and the lady said ‘let’s collect in the instruments’ and I was like oh god no, you can’t take it from her, she will have a meltdown 🤣
Absolutely yes!
