How often do you typically have to wait for your OB appointment?

Just curious, I’m 35 weeks and I’ve never had an appt that I’ve had to wait less than an hour in the 12+ times I’ve come now. I’m used to it by now, but just curious what everyone else’s wait times are usually.

That’s insane!!! Majority of my appointments I only waited 10-15 minutes I had only one that they made me wait about 40 minutes and I was not happy at all. Do you usually go early? I wonder if it has something to do with the time you go in. Most of my appointments between 8:00-9:00 am. The only one I had in the afternoon was the one that I had to wait 40 minutes.

my wait times have been getting longer and longer each appointment it seems like. the office is always slammed and it seems they’ve gotten tons of new patients :/

I also go in at 8-9am times before work and never wait more than 5-10 min but that’s when they open so maybe that is why? That is pretty crazy waiting that long I def recommend trying a different time of day

No more than 30 minutes.

All mines was 10-15min only time I waited real long was my very first appt but after that no more then 10 min I always get early morning my appt be at 8 I get there at 7:30 since they open that early by 8:30 im leaving out

I don’t wait at all normally seen right away but I go to a private midwife

My midwife always sees me right away. She's a CPM though (Certified Professional Midwife) and does the prenatal visits in her home and I believe that she usually gives each of her clients an hour each for their appointments so I've never even seen any of her other clients when I've been there. No waiting for anyone. It's been super nice!

They want me to show up twenty minutes before the appointment time. I did that the first time. Now I just show up at the time. I wait 15 minutes max

I think it depends on the time of day that you go too, and the type of office. I've been to 2 different offices. My first OBGYN if I went like a Thursday morning I'd plan to be there for about an hour. Went on a Friday afternoon once. I was there for like 2 hours. My current doc office is midwives only, I go on Saturday mornings and it's quieter than you'd expect for a Saturday. Wait time about 15 to 20mins
