I agree, the copper one I think is the only non-hormonal.
Yup, IUD copper is the only non hormonal one. I had that before get pregnant
@Jessica what was your experience with it
I became pregnant while using an IUD 🤡😂 but in my case, it happened because the device shifted and ended up in my cervix. Until then, it had worked effectively for two years. During that time, I noticed my menstrual flow became heavier, and my cramps were slightly more intense. If you opt for an IUD, I strongly recommend getting it checked at the first sign of discomfort. In my situation, I started feeling the IUD during sex—not painfully, but it was noticeable and a bit uncomfortable. I thought it was just the position we were. I didn’t have it checked, and two months later, I was holding a positive pregnancy test which I’m very happy now but damn I was chocked when I found out 🥲
@Jessica she won’t do the tube litigation 😤😤 I had one for 7 years and it came out and then I got pregnant and your right the string was mad annoying but I had marina and had problems with it too and same thing you did. But never got pregnant
@Jessica 🤦🏾♀️😂omg i don’t know what to do at this point because i have some liver issues where i can’t have any hormonal contraception at all. So the copper iud is my only option and you’re like the 4th person that i know now who’s gotten pregnant from an iud.
@JaKeisa yall making my anxiety go up
@Aaliyah Thacker mine is high too. i’m literally getting induced in 4 days and still haven’t made a final decision
@JaKeisa I have to get the iud that’s the only option
@Aaliyah Thacker mine too. i just haven’t put a final answer on it.
I think there’s only one non hormonal iud and it’s the copper one. I also have to get this one due to other health reasons.
