Postpartum hair loss

Hi all. First time mum to my 8 month old daughter. I’m hoping you can reassure me. During pregnancy I had lovely thick healthy hair….the postpartum hair loss kicked in around 4 months and is still going…my hair is really thin now. Can anyone advise….does it ever grow back thicker again? I know this is no huge issue but it has hit my confidence. Thank you

Your hair will go back to normal. All the hair you would have lost during pregnancy then falls out after having the baby. It might take a while to feel thicker again as all the hairs have to obviously all grow back down again. Don’t bother with vitamins or anything it will happen anyway 😊

That’s true it’s totally normal and will grow back. I noticed when I stopped taking vitamins my hair changed so I’m still taking them and eat food that’s helps too.

Omg it’s so hard, second baby and this time has been so much worse! I have bald patches 🥺

I feel so sad looking at my hair. I always cover it up😩😭😭. I am 8 months PP and this hair loss thing is HELL!!! Hang in there love xx

I am 8months too I just do the routine, wash and oil Don’t think about it too much, it would grow back. Just hang in there I hear vitamins also help. Try not to dwell on it too much to make you sad.

Thank you all….this advice and support has really helped xx
