Do you know which doctor is delivering your baby?

I see a couple different doctors. Well one is a midwife/nurse practitioner and then I see two different doctors depending on who is available and I wouldn’t say either of them I’m very close to… would one of them be delivering my baby or does it just depend who is on call when I go into labor?

Honestly it depends on whos on call when you deliver

Really just depends on whose on call

That’s why that have you basically meet them all. I actually hate that but I guess it’s fine lol

I'm honestly 38 weeks today and haven't met all providers. (Pretty sure there's only 1 or 2 i haven't met but have heard good things about from others) there is 1 specific doctor that I hate and do not like and personally hope he's not the one on call cause I don't want him touching me

@Joye I feel like you should be able to request he not be there to be honest. And if they show up tell them to call someone else. Advocate for yourself to the fullest

Yes. I only have and see 1 doctor. She delivered my first baby and will be doing the same with this second baby.

No who ever is on call (which I hate)

i have like 10 possible doctors/midwives who could be on call when i go in and i hate not knowing

I just signed paper yesterday that my doctor is the only one who should deliver my baby. He said once I go to labor and delivery they will call him to get there. It was little strange since he works 9-5 every day except weekend but I guess he can make it 🤷🏻‍♀️
