Anyone else realise AFTER having a baby how unhelpful the dad is? Even when he’s got kids of his own and ‘seems’ or told you he was really hands on?

I think my husband thought that they mistake have raised themselves... or at least thought they were way less work... and realized after what it entailed. He used to want several of our own AND to adopt some before having any. We had a set of twins and he's changed his mind...
