An effective review motivates and encourages the employee to strive for greatness. ☺️
What I should've done was take what they say im doing good at and find a job that aligns with what I'm good at and like doing. Rather than focus and fix weaknesses let's focus build up my strengths. No one is perfect. It's okay to have weaknesses that's how great partnerships work. What I'm not good at someone else is. Let's team up.
@Violeta💕 you couldn't have said it better! Thank you for a thoughtful contribution as always! Another great one from you 🥰
Another great one Tima. I work doing social services in a corporate setting so I am very aware of how the annual performance reviews work. I believe an annual performance review is overall positive. A lot of it comes down to how the company formulates the review how they encourage transparency and how they follow up after. I think it really gives the opportunity to discuss areas of improvement areas of strength but it could be biased depending on the work relationship between the supervisor and the employee. In a perfect world annual performance reviews are transparent are positive and are unbiased. However in some situations there could be shortcomings. I believe that annual performance reviews are more to promote greater awareness and targeted areas... What i consider constructive feedback is highlighting positive aspects of a person's performance. Being aware of the wording and being supportive of employees when it comes to areas of improvement.
