Judgemental people

So I went for a growth scan and came out one argument later so I walked in with my partner and from off the bat the woman kept staring at me I was just trying to brush it off then said to myself she’s looking at my hair, then my partner got up to go to the bathroom and she came waltzing over and said “your a bit to young to be here you waiting for mummy to come out” I said what’s your problem I’m just trying to go about my day and your making me uncomfortable by staring at me when I’m trying to feel alright (as I was anxious as I don’t like hospitals to begin with) then my partner came back and she said “you want to be careful knocking her up as she’s too young to be in a setting like this” and walked off made me feel so uncomfortable I walked out crying as she made me feel that low about myself

What the heck??? What an absolute weirdo. I assume this was a patient and not staff? She needs to mind her bloody business

Some people need to be retrained in bedside manner and general fucking common sense. I know it’s hard and have dealt with shitty comments too recently not just from midwives I’m really sorry you had to experience that and I’m glad you said something to her and put in a complaint.
