I had the same kind of issue, normal hair loss after baby was born and now nearly 2 years on i got 2 patches of hair loss. Thankfully i have thick hair and this was under neath so can wear hair up or down but i wouldn’t have known anything about it until my hairdresser pointed it out. I see her every 6/8 weeks so she keeps me up to date with how the hair growth is going and it’s coming back now thankfully but will take time. Apparently it’s really common with women that have had babies however unpleasant it can be!
I really struggled after having our LG, beyond the normal postpartum hair loss so I went to see the doctor. Turns out I had very low iron levels and then very low b12 levels - both of which can severely impact your hair. After aprx 8 months of supplements and B12 injections my hair isn’t really falling out, it’s in great nick and I have loads of new growth. However, I am pregnant again and I am seriously worried what’s going to happen post birth. I spoke to my hairdresser and whilst this isn’t her professional hairdressing opinion, she didn’t really have one, she said she’d visible seen one of her friends and colleagues have major success taking a sea kelp supplement from Holland & Barratt. Apparently this lady suffered really badly with postpartum hair loss and that made a major difference. She also mentioned the shampoo & hair care brand Watermans and said her husband, who I assume has thinning hair, has noticeably thicker and better hair after using their products for a period x
I completely understand you, lost a lot of hair during and after pregnancy, not to mention that I already had some issues with hair falling out before, but definitely nothing like during and after pregnancy, almost 2 years after baby was born, I've had to shave it because I had major bald spots, also due to stress and some health issues, and now is slowly growing, stronger and thicker, baby hairs everywhere, especially where I didn't had any, I'm happy but sad at the same time because it's going to take me 2 pr more years to get my long beautiful hair back, but I'm doing a treatment shampoo, spray and conditioner, also using natural oils to help regrowing 😊 it does get better
