I think we were about 5w pp the first time we did the deed after birth. They say to wait at least until your 6w follow up to get the all clear from your doctor
I was 5 weeks pp after a c section. Personally for the stitches I would wait a little while. Maybe pleasure each other in other ways 😊
Typically wait 5-6 weeks until clear, noooo orgasms. It causes your uterus to contract and cause issues with healing
At least 6 weeks, I had no stitches and was a little uncomfortable at 6 weeks pp, I probably would wait a little longer if I’d had stitches
I waited about 4 weeks pp but I had no stitches and no bleeding( I know some people still say too early but 🤷🏼♀️). It was uncomfortable so waited again until 5/6 weeks but it didn’t really feel better until around week 8. If you are still bleeding and since you had stitches I would deff recommend waiting
it’s suggested online that you wait 6 weeks. if you’ve got stitches, defo wait until they’re fully healed as you don’t want to cause extra damage or get an infection. it wasn’t through sex, but my stitches tore open and honestly it’s so painful, and it takes so much longer to heal. but depending on where your stitches are, id personally wait until they’re healed
We tried at 6 weeks (The night we got the green light). I lasted 3 seconds before tapping out bc it was so uncomfortable 😭 ended up taking like 6-7 months before I could tolerate anything in there again
Definitely wait the 6 weeks so you dont tear any stitching or risk getting an infection in your uterus since you have a dinner plate sized wound from your placenta!
i had stitches too, did it at 7 weeks and it was not fun! definitely don’t try anything before your stitches are 100% healed. i wanted it bad at 2 weeks but it’s worth the wait i promise
After 6 week OB check up to get clearance. Body needs to heal whether it was vaginal c section birth. Uterus takes 6 weeks to recover and heal from the placenta tearing off the wall. Take care x
First time took like 3 months and it was not at all comfortable I’d also had stitches and one thing I would say stock up on lube just in case.
