I had been trying to conceive for over a year, took vitex and conceived the next month, miscarried at 9ish weeks but then conceived again on my next cycle. She's now 5, we then had 2 more ❤️
@Michelle this is amazing. 😻 have never heard about having to stop it after three months. In fact, it’s recommended that one takes it for at least three months as per clinical studies I have seen. But I am so happy it worked for you, I have started it today xx
@Sarah thank you for sharing, this gives me hope as my hormones are all over the place atm. Sorry you miscarried, do you think it was due to low progesterone?
We use this to calm down mardy mares in the equestrian world and it absolutely works for them! It’s blown my mind that people use it but actually not surprised at all as it’s so effective. Can’t believe it’s the first time I’ve heard of women using it to regulate their cycles. I think it’ll work!
@Dominique it took like 3 months for me to start feeling the effects so I would say don’t give up on it. ☺️
@Michelle it’s seems to give me anxiety and vivid dreams. Hopefully it’s only until my body adjusts to it, I’ll see how it goes. Did you have this as a side effect? X
@Hannah yea it’s got a long history of traditional use in women’s health and fertility xx
I've not noticed any side effects.. but my anxiety has been up recently 🤔 I'm currently taking half doses hoping to help spur my cycle to return (10 Mos PP and still nursing) I originally thought my mc was due to chemical exposures at my work at the time (I was in the paint department at a collision repair shop) however I also miscarried between my 5yo and my 2.5yo so I do wonder about progesterone levels and overall viability being that I was around 40 and my husband 7 years older than me.. we'll never know for sure.
@Dominique oh no that’s a shame. I struggle in general with my mental health which also gives me vivid dreams in general so it could possibly but I haven’t noticed 😂 It’s supposed to have the opposite effect.
@Sarah I see, thanks for sharing. I am 40 and have recently stopped BF my toddler. Since then, my hormones have been all over the place and I am hoping vitex can help fix this and that I can get pregnant and it’s not to late x
Highly recommend! I suffered from PMDD and took several courses of treatment (cause you can only do 3 months a time as per the guidance). Took 3 months within a year apart and by the 2nd time my PMDD is pretty much non existent. Regular periods. In terms of fertility.. I pretty much got pregnant at first try, but don’t know if it’s cause of the Castus.
