Contraception and breastfeeding

Hey all, I am only breastfeeding my soon to be 3mo and I used copper coil as a contraceptive, but my GP took it out on an exam as a part of it was coming out and could be causing pain via intercours, and gave the mini pill for the mean time witle I get another copper coil. As I am just breastfeeding and my lo is refusing a bottle or dummy after her first imunization, I am really worried it could mess up my milk supply. Do any of you have experience with that?
