Not much at all currently but planning to have a better bedtime routine when she goes into her own room next month, so I brought the Beatrix potter book set for Christmas 🥹 Currently she just falls asleep downstairs with us whenever she feels like it and we take her up to bed when we go to sleep

Always but only because he sits with us when I'm reading my 3 year olds bed time story, I didn't read every night to my first born until he was older and actually showed interest, he loves books now and got a brilliant vocabulary and imagination so it hasn't had a negative effect at all x

Never 😁

Trying to make more of an effort with her but she’s not really interested yet. We always do books with my eldest as part of her bedtime routine, one of her first words was “book” before she turned one! Same as Sophie, we don’t really have a proper routine for LO yet as she just sleeps downstairs with us until we go to bed.

Not much at the moment but will be more so when he goes into his own room. We did the same with my eldest who is now 3 and we now read 2 stories a night. He talks really well and loves books 🥰

My husband reads the book whilst I feed the baby, at this point I'm not sure they baby is paying much attention haha

We’ve tried it a few times but my little girl is usually grouchy right before bed so she’s not really interested in it😂 when she starts going in her own room next month we will try and make more of an effort to do it but at the moment she really doesn’t seem interested!

Mine loves books during the day time but at night she just screams 🤷🏻

Omg thank you all! I was starting to wonder if I was doing something wrong by not doing it 😂 I know you shouldn't compare but I see so many 'bedtime' routines on tiktok etc where it looks like they read every night! I figured we'd start a bit more once she's in her own room in case we need to kill some time until she will sleep 😂

I don't read to her before bed, as she gets excited and wants to chew the book. I save it for mid day

We dont read to our June baby before bed but when shes older we will, my 2 year old has 1 or 2 books before bed and so soon enough both girls will have book before bed together xxx

Only because we have a toddler he usually sits with her while she has a bedtime story. Otherwise we wouldn’t bother just yet x

I read “Goodnight Moon” to my LO every night! It’s a great bedtime book and a signal for him to know it’s bed time and night sleep, not just another nap . He loves it and always smiles at the end 🥰
