My little one was the same, he had done wee’s and poo’s on potty in a weekend, I decided I wasn’t taking a step back and put him straight in pants and he’s been in pants for 2 weeks now, he still has the odd accident but stay with it!
@libby thanks for the reply. I sent her in pants and it seems we have gone a few steps back. She had a few accidents on the first day (expected) but came home really nervous of the potty. Jumping around panicking when making a wee, won’t sit on the potty when she knows she needs to.. Generally more clingy asking for cuddles. I think it’s just a big adjustment. She is clearly ready but I’m worried I’ve messed things up 😩😩 She is fine with the potty at school apparently but not will do like 1 wee for the day whereas she did 8 wees and a poo in one day at home!
I wonder if it’s because she’s more comfortable at home to just go on the potty whenever she needs one, honestly I’d just follow her lead, she’s ready to take that step but also her home is her comfort zone isn’t, bless her! Does she go to school everyday or have you got a couple of days you could take her out and have a travel potty and get her used to doing it out of the house? Have school offered her to use the big toilet? I think If it was me in your position of my little one not wanting to wee I’d put him back in nappies for school and take them off once home, follow her lead all the way! Keep strong 🥰🥰
@libby unfortunately has to go every day 4 days a week, but will finish off next week Friday for the year and hoping that will help. I am considering nappies but she’s scared at home now too even to go in the nappy. 😩
And yes the school offers various potty’s and the mini toilets
Oh noo! That’s awful bless her!! It’s hard when they can’t tell you why aswell isn’t it🥹, maybe just put her back in nappies until she breaks up 🥰
How is she pls
