Still in pain?

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or might have an idea what ms happening…. I have already asked my doctor and she just said she doesn’t know. I am 7 weeks post c-section and I keep getting severe cramping a couple of hours before I have a bowel movement and whilst having a bowel movement and also on urination. It’s so painful I have to stop walking or doing anything at all. I’m currently on antibiotics because the incision wasn’t healing very well, they are supposed to remedy water infections too but so far I haven’t noticed the pain getting any better. Has anyone else experienced this?

What kind of cramping? Where is the pain? Is it diarrhea cramping or is it higher?

@Kassia it’s like period cramping

The uterus does take time to shrink back into its original size. It may be contracting very strongly due to your infection, though. HOWEVERRR complications can also happen after a c-section and severe pain is NOT normal. I would go to the GP or to a walk-in center and insist on some form of imaging to see if everything looks okay. If they refuse, then ask them to put notes on your charts saying that they refused when you asked for imaging (legal purposes).

Thank you so much!! It doesn’t feel normal, so I’ll definitely be following up again x
