How many words is your 19/20 month old saying?

I'd try not to worry about this. My eldest said his first ever word at 17 months so by this point still wasn't saying much. But now he literally never shuts up 😂and is ahead at school in terms of language.

^so true. And boys tend to speak later than girls. Everyone I know with a son under 2 has spoken really late, whereas my 22 month old speaks in 5 word sentences and knows hundreds of words. They’re all just so different. In a couple of years though, they’ll all be at the same place. Those kids who have been excelling will slow down on their progress while everyone else keeps accelerating - they all even out in the end!
