I imagine it’s for reassurance and validation which is exactly what this app/group is for!
As long as they are marked as sensitive I really don’t see the issue, I think that’s what this group is for? Support and advice! It’s all very natural, I’d hope that if I didn’t know what I was looking at I wouldn’t get judged on a forum like this for sharing 💔
Why do you care so much just don’t look at it some people don’t know this app is here to help and support and people like you make it so these people don’t want to ask questions when there confused
People who are having their first baby might not know? Wouldn’t say there “obsessed” either lol it’s normal to be worried about discharge etc during pregnancy :)
Don’t view the pictures if it bothers you 🤷🏻♀️ it gives you a warning beforehand anyway.

It is just that it doesn't say anything about labour and no one can give any advice following this. It isn't like you will go into labour within minutes as it still can grow back and it isn't an indicator to anything so why bother? Also it is my first pregnancy as well just so you know
Well tbh this is my second child but I’ve not lost my plug yet and I’m worried when it does happen! And with my first pregnancy I had to get induced so I didn’t lost my plug either and everyone is saying look for blood or mucus but you still have a lot of questions in the back of your head and you need advice and that’s what this app is for
Yeah I think there’s a want for reassurance right? And (as with most topics…) even if someone else has posted / asked recently your immediate reaction is to post and ask! Plus there are 101 myths around going into labour and the mucus plug coming away is definitely part of that.
Judging by other groups I’ve been browsing I’d also say be prepared for this to change into people posting lots of nappy and poo photos once babies are here 🤭

I don’t actually see what some of yous are crying about 😂 it’s a group to help people out what happened to mums supporting mums lmao, just because yous don’t post photos of stuff that’s “sensitive” don’t shame other mums! Also these posts are NAMED sensitive for a reason like someone said don’t open it if it has that warning if you don’t want to look🫠
I understand they are under sensitive content and don't have to see them. It's just all of us are coming to an end now and posting it doesn't get you any help whatsoever so I don't see the point. If it was an indication to something then yes of course. Just every other post now is this and it is boring.
I hope at a time when you need support, whatever that might be for, ‘gross’ (natural) or not, that people are a lot kinder to you than you are them. I personally haven’t commented because I am a FTM and can’t advise, but I found it interesting and wouldn’t mind knowing others thoughts on that post. I just don’t see the issue, nothing about pregnancy is glamorous & this is a safe space literally designed for chatting / advising others, I think it’s a bit odd to feel so strongly and to not just scroll on and not click it if offended. It has a warning for that exact reason.
Right and? Don’t open it then if you don’t want to see it, you’ve clearly plenty of time on your hands to be posting a post like this to throw shame on people, we can’t all be like you and know everything 🫠 and if it’s boring then delete the app lol you aren’t under obligation to have this app
It says to contact health provider if you have yellow discharge or bleeding or persistent cramps but also says it’s completely normal to have yellow mucus bleeding and persistent cramps most people on this group are heavily pregnant, will experience long wait times at the hospital if they go in so don’t want to go for nothing but also feel a huge sole responsibility to spot anything that might be wrong with them or baby. You’re judging others but tbh it’s you posting this and thinking you deserve a gold star for knowing not to be concerned about the mucus plug coming away that is cringe. It’s not a competition the group is for advice on pregnancy.
Say it with your chest and don’t post on incognito if it really annoys you that much..

Peace of mind and excitement I imagine. Not something I’d be comfortable doing myself, but happy to support others.
It's for a piece of mind and possibly for preparation for events to come, no it doesn't always mean labour is imminent but it can indicate that we're not far off. There are a lot of first time mums on this app who may not know the difference between their mucus plug and normal discharge, so they seek the help from other women who may have gone through losing the plug already and can put their mind at ease. This group has always been a very lovely and helpful community without judgement, don't start now.
I can’t believe I’m actually seeing something as ridiculous as this post.. you’re complaining about fellow pregnant ladies asking for advice on something saying it’s “pointless” well I would say your post right here is pointless because what exactly are you achieving?😅 all you’re doing is probably making those mums to be feel really shitty, also how do you know that they have read all the other similar posts regarding mucus plugs to know the answers 😵💫 you don’t. This is a safe space for people to come for advice and guidance and so far that’s all I’ve ever seen on peoples posts and this is ridiculously negative. I would agree with others on here and if you’re that against stuff like this then remove yourself from the app cos there’s gonna be plenty more things like this especially as babies are arriving, get ready for the shit pics 😂😂😂😂
