How do you keep up with housework with a Newborn?

Hello! I’m a first time mom and I’m finding very hard to keep up with cleaning and taking care of the baby and myself. Also I am breastfeeding and trying to build my supply but cleaning after every pump takes some time. I feel like it’s a lot and I feel so tired sometimes I don’t even shower😩 Please give some tips🥹🫶🫶

Don't even try to have the house in order while in the newborn stage. I didn't clean or cook for a while and my in laws came over and didn't criticize once, they ordered take out. Do you have any friends or family who could help you with house chores even? Also, idk if you know about the fridge hack. My lactation consultants told me about it. Breast milk is good in the fridge for 3-4 days so any contaminated pump supplies, by extension, are too. So you can put it all in a Ziploc bag and put it in the fridge for a couple days instead of cleaning each time. I personally only did it 24h but better than cleaning each time 😭

I am going through the same thing right now. I personally really like to have a CLEAN house and I find it really hard to relax or take time for myself if the chores aren’t done. I live in an apartment so when it is messy it feels terrible. My husband on the other hand doesn’t care (aka the source of the mess 90% of the time). My tip is to do the 10 min method; You only clean for 10 min at a time. Set a timer and then do something that actually matters (shower, take care of baby, wash your face, take a break, etc). I really am an anxious neat freak and this is my lifeline at the moment.
