Supplements for 26month old

Hi Mammas, I need some guidance on supplements for my 26-month-old. Right now, I give my son vitamin D, vitamin C, and probiotics. I’m wondering if I should also include calcium and iron supplements. When I asked my family physician, he was very clear that they are not required. However, I feel that calcium might be important for his growing bones. Please advise!

If he is getting enough in his diet it doesn't need to be supplemented. If he is drinking milk, its typically fortified with vitamin D. If he eats cheese, yogurt, drinks milk etc he should be getting enough calcium. If you have too much calcium it can cause negative effects so you don't want to have more than necessary. And for Iron again, if hes getting enough in his diet its not needed. I personally wouldn't give them if my Dr advised against it.
