yes! i EBF and had to do that too. i had to go to A&E (for me) when our son was about 4 weeks. we figured it’s not the place for a newborn and probs illnesses all over the place in there, so my partner gave him formula for that one night whilst i was there. all was fine, although was amazing to see how much he drinks from a bottle as he’s only ever been on the boob 🤣
I exclusively breast feed & express into a bottle for night times… and one night decided to try formula to relieve pressure of me pumping every day however I paid for it the next day as she was screaming in pain all day, was horrific! May have been something else but I’m sure it was constipation from the formula or her tummy hurting. Was awful. Probably better to introduce it in small doses at a time to get their stomachs used to it xxx

Could you not pump between now and then and transport the frozen milk in a freezer bag? But yes you can definitely use formula for a one off! X
