I feel really similar! Have 2u2 now and had the ‘baby blues’ after just like last time but it only lasted a few days. Now it’s like all my energy is spent just getting on with things, my mind is always going thinking about things we need or scheduling or cleaning/laundry. There’s a post above about like ‘does anyone else just look at their baby and cry because of how much you love them’ and like no, I never feel that way 😆 I of course love them but it’s not that like strong emotion some mums seems to have. I think it’s okay and everyone is just different?
@Kristine yeah I think this is highly likely to be honest!
@Allie haha I saw that post too, I was thinking the same 😅 you’re absolutely right. I think the keeping busy thing and just having no time to reflect probably is a factor. I’m so glad I’m not the only one though, all I hear is people saying how much more emotional they’ve been since having children and I just don’t get that at all!
@Allie it’s actually cracking me up a little bit that the next post above is so contradictory to mine 😂 goes to show how different everyone’s experiences are
Could it be you’ve developed a coping mechanism of blanking things out?
