@Angela I jus opened up my child support case today … I’m so sad and dep
Being a mom is tough in general. I couldn't imagine being a single mom. Im sure coming to this decision wasn't easy. My advice would be never come to a conclusion on your worst day. If you receive benefits ie WIC speak to a counselor and discuss your situation. I know Jersey does offer stipends and vouchers for childcare. You may qualify for low or free childcare even if it's just a few hours a week it's something. Im thinking about you and I'm sure you will make the best decision for you and your family🤎
@Shanee thank you are you located in jersey
I used to live in Jersey, but I now split my time. I do go back a lot. I'm very familiar with the state, especially things regarding social services.
Sending love, hugs, comfort, strength. Hoping you get the support u need soon. My chat is always open for a shoulder to lean on
You may regret it, please don't make any decisions, have a think, look for help. You can do it I was adopted myself and my birth mum always said she regretted it and wanted me back but couldn't. Try childcare maybe to give yourself a break. My sister is a single mum to five and has three jobs, she said its hard but worth every bit I need a break now and again too nd I have just one little boy who's nearly two
Aww sending love baby I’ve been there my baby father was old and his old ass and his old ass mom didn’t want nothing to do with my baby I was 19! It was hard I was alone I had to do the shelter but in the end I got my apt and a job and I’m here to tell you it’s hard but it will be ok baby keep pushing
If u want to keep your child, u might have to put her in daycare so u can work. Also, if it's his child to get u some child support, he might not want to be accountable, but even if he isn't active he will have to support that child
I'm sorry you are going through so much. Have you gone through DHR to get child support? My daughter is 17 years old. When her dad died in 2016, his family became that way, and she hasn't seen them in years!
