Thank you for the message I finally got to talk to my doctor and she’s helping me come up w a game plan. I appreciate you 😊
That is so wonderful glad you got in touch with your Doctor It will definitely make your journey through your pregnancy a lot easier with their help
My sister has type 1 diabetes, and I don't remember specifically her challenges with blood sugar control while pregnant, but she quickly stopped breast feeding because all she would do is eat, pump, feed the babies - she had twins. I don't have a lot to offer except you are not alone with this struggle, and you are doing the best you can. You got this mama!
It's not your fault when you're pregnant It can be all over the place because Of the placenta And your pancreas It's not catching up I would stay away from the banana I know you had half of it but it is extremely Spikes When you are pregnant plus already diabetic I would stay with sugar-free wheat toast Some eggs, avocado some protein like meats The protein drink I know it's got a lot of protein in it should balance out that banana but the banana is already a spiky Fruit that it overpowers the protein shake I would try more of an oats more Of a filling carb that slowly releases I would reach out to your OB and see if you can get in touch with if you're not with a fetal specialist They will help you better control your insulin they might have to go up on it but it's worth it to get the numbers stay Controlled If you ever want to talk my messages are always open if there's something you need help on I'm willing to help Or just having someone To talk about the struggles Is definitely hard Struggle
