Change in movement

Hello ladies. I'm 29weeks today and for a couple of days i felt a change in my baby's movements. There are hardly any kicks just some twists and turns. Apart from the 1am movements, there is no actual schedule when she is active and i read there should be some schedule? I hardly feel her most the time. What's your experience? Trying not to freak out, i have another ultrasound on monday but that feels like forever!

Hi :) I’m 29 weeks today too. Sometimes I have quiet days where baby doesn’t move much. I often find that if he has a very active day- he can be quiet the next. I have been sent in before due to no movements but it turned out baby had turned to my back so I couldn’t feel the kicks even though they were happening. I’ve been told that some babies don’t have any routine to their kicks but if you are a little unsure or worried, I’d contact triage. They will be able to put your mind at ease :) I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about x

I’ve had this too! I’m 29+3 weeks and baby likes to move around more rather than kick, and when she does kick/hit it’s very low down xx

If you’re ever in doubt don’t wait for a next midwife or ultrasound appt just go and get checked by triage- this is the most crucial time to be on top of movements from now until birth. I think it sounds like what you’re experiencing is normal because baby runs out of room so style of movements can change but I would always get an experts opinion in doubt and they should never make you feel silly for going in

31 weeks and I’ve been in 4x now because I had this too! He has days where he seems to move into a weird position that his kicks aren’t as prominent and on one occasion thought while I was on way to triage it was an amazing time to start booting lol always get checked out if you feel worried, I always try talk myself out of it but in reality it’s better to leave with them making us out to be anxious than any other way❤️ xx
