does this drive anyone else absolutely insane?!
when parents say “i didn’t do this with my first baby, so i’m not doing it with my second.” example A - “my first baby didn’t have the vaccines because they’ve changed them since he was born so my second baby won’t have them either” example B - “i know of someone who gave their baby cows milk at 6 months so i will too”. it’s like people don’t realise research evolves and it’s in the best interest of your children to follow advice sometimes and not just go with survivors bias!!! 🙃

There’s so much! I throw at them - infant mortality has halved since 1990 for a reason. This is UK stat. Not sure where you’re posting from

Not necessarily first and second kid but when grandparents say you did that and you turned out okay. Just cus I survived being put in my own room from 3 weeks old doesn’t mean it’s okay now!
