Wanting to try after miscarriage

So I stopped bleeding on Wednesday after a week of that and clots, it was confirmed to me yesterday the miscarriage has taken place. My question is can I try again now? I don’t want to start wasting ovulation tests as they are expensive but how else do you know when to start trying again? The nurse said they recommend waiting until after your first period but she said we don’t have to..

I’d track cm, I got pregnant before my periods returned by paying attention to my cm! I was breastfeeding so didn’t have any period x

I was advised to have one period as I had retaining products for a while and they said it would make sure there was 100% nothing left over, I had a 4 day period and got pregnant after (I also did ovulation tests but they never showed positive 🤷🏽‍♀️ somehow caught it 😅x

@Jacelyn thank you. How long after the MC did you get your period? They told me anytime from now to 4 weeks so I have no idea when I’m going to ovulate and try again x

MMC found at a private scan 25th Aug, I stopped bleeding around 25th September - negative test 15th October however could of been earlier this was the date the hospital advised me to check, period started 19th October. I’m currently 8.3 weeks but I just basically did the deed every couple of days as it can last in there a while to catch when I ovulated 😅 I use Flo app but even that had my ovulation date a lot later in the month which obviously wasn’t correct x
