My hair was soooo thick during pregnancy and beginning of postpartum around 8-10 months pp mark I started losing so much hair and now I have patches of new growth even a year later lol. Enjoy it while you can🥲
@Katlyn almost 2 years out from my first and my second is almost 6 weeks, and i swear this isnt going anywhere 😅 i was hoping for some hair loss the first time because i just have so much 😭 i know this probably sounds like a very privileged complaint, but this stuffs heavy 😭😂
My hair loss is speeding up as I approach 1 year pp
If it’s heavy, get it layered so it’s lighter, don’t get blunt cuts. But a good problem to have overall. I didn’t lose much, but what I do have is moderate amount of thin shiny Asian hair which the con is it doesn’t hold any curl at all whatsoever 😂
I have this 😂 I don’t mind it tho it’s longer and thicker which I was trying to do before I got pregnant because it was getting pretty thin and had never grown past just below shoulder length it’s now past my boobs and looks a lot better It got like this when I had my first and I’m now pregnant with baby number 2 and it hasn’t changed
1st pregnancy is lost loads of hair during and after. This time round my hairs gone wild, I have an undercut and having to reshave it once a week because it's growing so quick!
Omgosh luckyyy I feel like all I have left is a little rat tail atp😂 but my hair is coming back in cuz I am 16 weeks pregnant rn but then I’ll probably lose it all again 🥲 no I totally understand I grew up with a cousin who would have to get very thick layers because the hair was pulling down on her head so hard it was giving her migraines. There’s definitely cons each side.❤️ best I could suggest is getting thick layers and asking for thinning shears around halfway through your hair that’s what my cousin had to do she also eventually got an undercut lol
Normally you have more hair during pregnancy. Then you lose that hair pp.
