It’s the depo. I would not get another shot that’s at least in my experience the worst birth control I had weight gain like crazy and damage to my bones. I would say don’t get another one and the bleeding should slow down. I just had my second I only bled for about 3 days with my first I had the same issues you are having.
Contact your doctor. HEAVY bleeding for a long time could be dangerous.

My dr said no depo because of the laundry list of side effects i would make a phone call
Yes I’ve made an appointment for Wednesday. I wish I would have been told about this side effect before getting it
They told me about all the other side effects but this one😭😭
im telling you women are not informed enough about birth control complications i had two iuds that put me in the hospital each time due to complications im now on progesterone only pill
I did the depo shot in college, it’s a no-no. I lost my period for about 10-12 months trying to regulate. As long as you only did one shot hopefully everything will get out of your system quicker than me. ❤️❤️ Glad you’re going to the doctor.
