Absolutely understand it.
I understand it. Your life changes completely. My old manager doesn't want kids. She likes her house looking like it belongs on an Instagram page and she and her partner have a boat in Spain they like to go to as often as possible. She has a niece and nephew she spoils and much prefers being the fun aunt.
For the ones saying "those who can should": Those that don't want kids, should they be forced to give birth then adopt out? I just wanna know how we are going to do that. Did you know that adoption is traumatic on all parties including the adoptee?
Definitely. I think it’s admirable to know that it isn’t right for you.
Not all women want to be baby factories. It's a very personal decision and one of which every person is entitled to make. The world is a mess, our children's futures look crap as the world stands right now, housing crisis are rife everywhere, everything is going up in price and living day to day life is becoming more of a struggle for more people. Anyone who thinks that anyone who can have a child should have to is delusional.
I have a baby but I do like the idea that we slow down with reproduction due to the earth, landfills and stuff. Plus it's a hard world we're bringing our kids into,so I see reasons why people wouldn't want kids. Also to be free or be career focused is good too
