How do you sterlise/clean Calpol syringe?

I've done it with boiling water and with our steriliser, it didn't melt😂x

Just wash in hot soapy water and rinse x

I do soap and water and then pour over boiling water. I’ve made the mistake of filling with boiling water too and expelling the water…80% risk of burning yourself- do not recommend 🤣🤣

Do you use Milton to sterilise other things?

@Charley I don’t really need to sterlise much because i EBF no pumping either. I just put baby’s pacifier in boiling water for 5mins as the company instructed but that’s why I was confused about the Calpol syringe because i just imagined it melting and can’t afford to destroy it as baby just had the 8week vaccines! Milton would have been a good idea too x

Ah that's that one out the window then! But as with breastfeeding appliances, you don't actually need to sterilise Calpol syringes. The need for Sterilising comes from the bacteria in formula milk. A really thorough wash with hot soapy water is plenty
