My baby was doing this as they had reflux she projectile vomited twice a day to the point my clothes were dripping and then little socks through the day. I sat her up for 30 mins after bottles and winded in between and it stopped. Give that ago first I’d say x
Could be really bad reflux or a milk allergy do they have any other symptoms like rash or mucusy poos?
@Willow nope nothing, you don’t even know he’s going to be sick! Doesn’t show anything just sits there and chills then vomits 😢 no crying or anything xx
@Becky yes we use prep machine, I do notice when I put powder in and click 4oz it takes it to 4.5oz when water is added. Could this be causing issues ? X
Extra water could definitely be a reason there little bodies can't process water at that age and can definitely cause intestinal issues and kidney problems in the future. Ik it's only a little extra water but it could still be hurting them if it's multiple times a day. Maybe premake bottles and pop then in fridge and warm them up when needed and see if that helps x
The only reason I ask is because I used prep machine with my first and I plan on using one with my second that's due in a few days and the midwife said that their has been reports of babies getting upset stomachs and vomiting with the prep machine as sometimes with the hot and cold shot it doesn't always kill the bacteria, maybe you could try the old fashioned way of boiling the kettle and cooling in a jug of cold water for a few days and see if that makes a difference, also take breaks during feeding and make sure to burp a few times and keep you baby upright for 30 minutes after a feed, see if any of that helps xx
Do you use a prep machine? I would speak with your doctors or midwife
