Wedding help..

Not overly close with my MIL and I’m due to get married next year. Any ideas what I could gift to her for our wedding day? X

Why do you need to give your MIL a gift on your wedding day? I didn’t give mine anything and we’re really close. Unless I missed something 🙈

I don’t need to it’s just what I’ve heard from friends when they’ve got married 🤷🏽‍♀️ I suppose it’s just a way of thanking them for there support over the years and if they’ve helped with the wedding planning..

Ah I thought you meant a full on gift. I actually got my mom and MIL a bunch of flowers each for that. Ordered it with my florist order and got them boxed nicely. My husband thanked them both in our speech and his best man handed them the flowers xx

Whilst doing speeches we just gave our respective mums (and people who helped with the wedding) a bouquet of flowers. I don’t think you need to do much more than that

Theres these cute little keepsake ornaments that say things like 'thankyou for raising the man of my dreams' cheap from etsy xxx

For my wedding, we gave both our mums personalised vases just saying to mum. Thankyou for everything you do, with love and both our names xx

We got both mothers a large bouquet of flowers and gave them to them during speeches
